Welcome to 2010. The convention season officially begins for Traveling Valentine with a one-two punch of Anime LA and SacAnime. Spanning two cities, one could easily guess that the theme for this convention report would be that Charles Dickens novel A Tale of Two Cities. But you would be dead wrong and I would have to dangle you from a balcony by whichever of your erogenous zones dangle the most. Whether based on the convention's track record or my opinions of the average convention attendee, I expected to feel a lot of fear and loathing during the 2010 and decided to roll with it for a theme.

	Prologue: Two conventions. Two locations. Too many things that could go wrong.
	Friday AM: This is not cosplay. I really am a whimsical guy with a thing for high school girls who writes from home.
	Friday PM: I can drink enough to get the Greek navy drunk, but one bottle of melon soda nearly kills me.
	Saturday AM: If you can't be at the convention you want, love the convention you're at.
	Saturday PM: The best laid plans of mice and men are often screwed up by incompetent idiots.
	Sunday: There's this rumor that we slept together. You think there might be some truth to that in the future?
